I would like to introduce some Japanese dishes.Japanese foods are very famous and popular around the world, and I guess you know some famous dishes such as
sushi or
tempura, but Japan has many delicious and unique foods except these dishes. Each area in Japan has its own traditional dishes. For example, there is a dish called
mimiga in Okinawa prefecture. It is ears of pigs!X( Sounds disgusting, but taste good. Like this, we Japanese eat something seems disgusting and grotesque. We call it
getemono. I think it depends on you but I recommend you to try some getemono if you had a chance. It would be a good exprience for you.

Here in Osaka, the traditional foods are
Takoyaki or
okonomiyaki. It is called
konamon which means the dishes made from flour. Furthermore, I recommend you to go to
Fukuoka,that is a prefecture belonging to Kyusyu and also it is my hometown, if you want to eat delisious japanese foods. Fukuoka is famous for ramen, a one- pot meal contains entrais and
mentaiko (salted cod roe spiced with red pepper.) All of these taste really good. I can show you around Fukuoka so let me know if you have a plan to visit Fukuoka.
Hakata-ramen
Japan has not only delisious dishes but also some sweets. The famous one is probably the rice cakes (mochi). Above all,
warabi mochi (bracken-starch pastry) with soybean flour. It is a famous sweet in Kyoto adjoining Osaka.

To sum up, Japan has many delicious and unique foods in anywhere. If you see unfamiliar foods, please don't hesitate and just try it!!!!!
